What to Do if an Agreement Is Rejected

If an agreement is rejected during the approval process, don’t worry. This usually means that some information needs to be corrected before the sale can be approved.

Step 1: Review the rejection reason

Open the rejected quote and carefully read the feedback provided by the Operations team.

The rejection reason will explain what needs to be corrected before the agreement can be resubmitted.

If you’re unsure what the feedback means, please contact the Operations team before making any changes.

Step 2: Duplicate the quote

Once an agreement has been sent for signature, the original quote can no longer be edited.

To make changes, you’ll need to create a copy of the quote.

Navigate to Quotes, open the rejected quote, then click Duplicate Quote.

A new editable version of the quote will be created.

Step 3: Make the required changes

Update the duplicated quote using the feedback provided by the Operations team.

Depending on the rejection reason, this may include:

  • Correcting organisation details.

  • Updating waste service information.

  • Amending pricing.

  • Correcting spelling or contact information.

  • Uploading or updating supporting documents.

Before continuing, review the quote carefully to ensure all requested changes have been made.

Step 4: Generate a new agreement

Once you’ve completed the required amendments, generate a new Agreement PDF from the updated quote.

Before sending it to the customer, check that all organisation details, waste services, pricing and bank details are correct.

Step 5: Send the updated agreement for signature

Send the new agreement to the customer for signature.

As the agreement has changed, the customer will need to sign the updated version before it can be submitted for approval.

Once signed, the agreement will automatically be sent back to the Operations team for review.

If all required changes have been made, the sale will be approved and the process will be complete.
